2. PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
- Studied and took Undergraduate degree in Economics at The University of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMCU) in 1990; and Master degree in Economics in 1994.
- 1994, Assistant Professor of the HCMCU as well as Adjunct Professor at The Open University of Ho Chi Minh City.
- From 1995 to 1996: Doing research work at the Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, and conducted the Ph.D thesis named: Monetary Policy of the Central Bank in late 1996.
- 1997: Assi. Professor of National University of Ho Chi Minh City until March, 1999.
- March, 1999: Vice President, the Ton Duc Thang University (TUT) which is now belonged to VGCL and a State University.
- From Sep., 2000 to July 2001, studying and conducting research in The Fulbright Exchange Scholar Program at The George Washington University, Washington DC.
- From July 2001 to Dec., 2006, working as the Vice President The University (TUT);
- 01/2007: Nominated as President of The TUT; and Professor from July., 2007.
- 11/2008: gained the title of Excellent Professor, given by the President of SRVN.
- 07/2010: was awarded the 3rd Labour Achievement Medal by the President of SRVN.
- Having done projects in countries: Thailand, The United States.
